Bayern Munich are within two wins of the Meisterschale after a 4-0 success over Heidenheim on Saturday. Harry Kane opened the floodgates for the visitors before Konrad Laimer, Kingsley Coman and Joshua Kimmich scored before the hour mark.

“I know that everyone will say that it’s normal for Bayern to win here,” said Kompany before praising his team. “But if you watch Heidenheim’s last few games, especially the one against Leverkusen here, it wasn’t easy for their opponents. It was a complete performance by the boys after a difficult week. Compliments to them”

The three points mean Bayern are now level on points with their last season tally. There was also another positive for the Bavarians as Jonas Urbig kept his first Bundesliga clean sheet in his sixth appearance.
