Jamil Siebert has reportedly attracted interest from a number of Italian Serie A clubs.

According to Sky Germany, Bologna and FC Torino are among the Italian teams that have the Germany Under-21 and Fortuna Düsseldorf defender on their radar.

The report claims that, because of a clause, the 22-year-old centre-back can leave Fortuna for €6 million if the club don’t get promoted. Should they be promoted to the Bundesliga, the clause would rise to €9 million.

For the time being, Siebert himself is not focusing on a transfer, but rather on finishing the season with Fortuna in the hope of being promoted.

Daniel Thioune’s side currently sit in eighth place in the 2. Bundesliga, four points behind third-placed Paderborn in the promotion play-off spot.
