RB Leipzig finally pulled the plug on Marco Rose’s stay at the club after yesterday’s defeat in Gladbach. However, with only a couple of months left before the end of the season, there is a slight possibility for them to land their preferred candidate before the summer.
The Bulls are now set to end the season with Zsolt Löw in charge. The Hungarian previously worked as an assistant coach to Thomas Tuchel at PSG, Chelsea and Bayern. It will be a return to a familiar territory for the 45-year-old as he also had a similar role in Leipzig between 2015 and 2018 under Ralph Hasenhüttl and Ralf Rangnick.
There is still a lot to play for Leipzig between now and the end of the season. They will face Stuttgart in midweek for a cup semi-final. Meanwhile, the battle to qualify for Europe will be decided in the final seven rounds of the Bundesliga. Sky report Löw could take over the helm at Leipzig starting from today.
