Bit of a lull so I’m going to play the football manager game. Only going to use players Liverpool FC have been linked with – rumours and not pick obscure names or names off the top of my head. However, I will say that a summer as crazy as this is never happening. Just for fun.
For some reason I now feel Salah and Trent are off. I have zero information. Just something in my gut making me think this. Virgil has decided to stay. Again, gut feeling.

Salah (free), Trent (free), Tsimikas (6m), Kelleher (18m) Doak (18m), Bacjetic (10m) Diaz (55m) Nunez (55m) Jota (30m), Chiesa (15m), Gomez (20 m) – circa 200 million plus lots of wages spent.
Ps. I don’t care what you think of these valuations. I took a shot at it and they seem pretty reasonable to me give or take.

Jorrel Hato (30m)
Gotta go with Ed001 fave and also one of mine Jorrel Hato. I’m putting a 30m valuation on him. Probably predominantly a CB but he would be my starting LB next season to grow into the team and eventually usurp Van Dijk long term.
Hjuisen (55m)
We needed a CB for ages. This guy challenges big time immediately. Long term partner for Hato in an exciting future CB partnership.
Frimpong (35m)
This guy is pretty RB to be fair but he is very very lively and dangerous. Defensively needs to improve but I think having a player like Hato left side could help balance the situation. He will have a serious fight with Bradley, one he might lose if Bradley stays fit. But we badly need a second option and this guy gets linked a lot. I like his desire to come here too.
Adam Wharton (60m)
Perfect player to challenge and add option to Gravenberch. Style would not change massively between these two.
Forward revamp.
Bare in mind that five have gone out with only Gakpo remaining.
This is full on revamp that costs. There is no RW out there that replaces Salahs goal output. But there may be a CF.
Isak (135m)
Enter Isak. World class player to replace world class player. Injuries a worry so we also buy
Cunha (60m)
Versatile forward to cover RW, AM and CF.
Mbuemo (50m)
He ain’t getting Salah numbers but he has attributes that can help put up similar to Gakpo numbers and ease the burden on Isak.
Elliot for me could challenge Mbuemo for his starting spot. With a CF now the focal point of attack perhaps a space will open. Big challenge in Mbuemo for him to overcome but I’m sure he is up for the challenge.
Massive outlay no doubt. But it drastically lowers the age of the team and even adds in some succession planning for the last remaining aging piece in Van Dijk.
I also sign Allison to a new deal.
