Lothar Matthäus lists his all-time top 10 players of FC Bayern

Germany and Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthäus lists his all time top 10 of Bayern players after the news of Thomas Müller’s contract not being extended.

410 games and 151 goal contributions for Bayern Munich: Lothar Matthäus has had a glorious career which peaked during his time at Bayern. He truly is somebody who got to know the club and the history of the club very well.

Still following der Rekordmeister closely as a TV-expert and pundit, Matthäus has reacted negatively to the news of FC Bayern not extending Thomas Müller’s contract:

“I think he had deserved the right to decide himself when he wants to end his career in Munich; sadly that was not possible.”
