Loaned out RB Leipzig player Eljif Elmas is likely to stay at Torino beyond this season, Sky Sports Germany reports.
The 25-year-old who arrived in Turin back in January has since made 4 Serie A appearances and scored 3 goals in the process.
Torino are believed to be very happy with the North Macedonian’s output so far and could imagine activating the purchase option of €18million in summer.
Alternatively, if Torino decides against a permanent deal, Leipzig will use the agreed €18million as a basis for negotiations with other parties.
This fee could raise ever so slightly if the midfielder continues to deliver on the pitch.
Elmas’ market value has already risen to €12million according to Transfermarkt.com and other clubs are believed to be interested.
